Job Description

Grant Management

  • Partner Sector Divisions in the design and roll-out of new grants in compliance with Grant Policy & Best Practices.  This includes developing and implementing relevant tools e.g. analytical tool and/or audits to mitigate risk while ensuring smooth and timely grant administrations.
  • Review and enhance existing controls at periodic cycle, and recommend improvements to ensure controls remain effective and efficient.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives through various methods such as value-stream mapping, process re-engineering, automation etc, to streamline existing Grant Processes and strengthen Grant Governance.  This includes seeing through the change management associated with the new initiative.

Grant Engagements

  • Support communication platforms with Funders and other government agencies to benchmark against industry grant practices.

Other Duties

  • Support secretariat duties for sub-board committee
  • Participate in cross-divisional events and initiatives

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years of relevant work experience of which 3 years is in managerial capacity. Experience with grant management and/or administration with knowledge of lean management will be advantageous  
  • Analytical, meticulous and strong in planning, supervisory and organizational skills
  • Good interpersonal skills and communication skills at all levels
  • A people manager who is able to energise the team to innovate and drive change
  • Enjoys taking on new challenges and working with people
  • This is a 2-year contract position with benefits.
