  • Manage the grants disbursement team to ensure prompt and accurate payment of grants
  • Work with external stakeholders (eg Ministry) to establish operational framework to ensure robust controls and governance framework
  • Leverage on data analysis to detect anomalies and potential fraud
  • Manage cash flow projection, monitor budget utilization and handle all financial-related matters (including procurement)
  • Drive efforts to improve internal operations, systems and processes to strengthen the accountability and governance for grants
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders and external auditors to manage audit-related matters to ensure compliance with audit requirements
  • Provide leadership to a team of officers to develop the team competency and groom them as professionals.

Job Requirements

  • Degree in Accountancy, Economics, Business or Statistics with minimum 5 years of relevant managerial experience with significant exposure to grant management in the public sector or private sector in health or social care industry
  • Experience in data analytics, finance and/or audit work is preferred
  • Able to balance operational demands and higher policy considerations
  • Good project management and organizational skills; strong analytical, writing and research skills; and aptitude for problem solving including numerical analysis
  • Able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
  • Team player with high level of initiative and strong interpersonal communication skills
