Job Description

  • Supervise a team of Silver Generation Ambassadors (SGAs) to communicate the PGP package and other relevant government schemes to seniors through house visits and community events.
  • Manage the administration and welfare of the SGAs, including planning and coordinating the training of the team, certifying qualified SGAs and review their currency periodically.
  • Retain and motivate existing SGAs through volunteer engagement.
  • Work with the Programme Manager and the Grassroots Advisers to implement the outreach strategies.
  • Ensure that SGAs meet performance standards and outreach targets.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders on the ground, such as government agencies and VWOs.
  • Gather feedback from outreach efforts and collate survey data for submission.
  • Verification of successful house visits by the SGAs
  • Act as a frontline responder when SGAs face difficult situations in their engagements.

Job Requirements

  • Experienced individuals with 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in healthcare, social services or community engagement
  • Has supervisory experience as a team leader
  • Passion in communication or outreach work on public policies
  • Strong ability to mobilise people into action
  • Good people and communication skills
  • Dependable and good problem solving skills
  • Ability to work in fast-paced and dynamic work environment, and is prepared to work after office hours when required
