Job Description

  • Support the Programme Manager (PM) in operational planning and strategy for outreach to seniors, ensuring a high quality of engagement and achieving successful outreach targets within a stated time period with minimal incidents
  • Assist in managing a team of Programme Coordinators (PCs) and guide them in volunteer management, training execution, and operations deployment, including planning and overseeing the training and resourcing of volunteers
  • Assist in developing and enhancing community engagement and partnerships with community stakeholders to facilitate SGO's work on the ground and effectively implement outreach strategies
  • Support the PM in preparing information for regular updates to SGO's leadership & stakeholders on feedback gathers from outreach efforts, and manage data obtained from outreach efforts to facilitate sense making by policy owners
  • Act as a frontline responder when PCs and Silver Generation Ambassadors (SGAs) face difficult situations in their engagements, and verify successful house visits by the PCs and SGAs
  • Coordinate feedback and workflow on the ground, including with partner agencies and community groups
  • Gather feedback from outreach efforts, perform statistical analysis and data management and interpret results of the analysis in reports for submission to the SGO and to the Grassroots Advisors

Job Requirements

  • At least 8-10 years of working experience and preferably 3-5 years of relevant experience in either healthcare, social services or community engagement
  • Possess supervisory experience as a team leader
  • Passionate in outreach and communication of public policies
  • Strong ability to mobilise people into action
  • Good people and communication skills
  • Dependable and good problem-solving skills
  • Meticulous with strong analytical and computer skills
  • Ability to work in fast-paced and dynamic work environment
  • Able to work after office hours when required
