Job Description

  • Work with colleagues from other divisions to determine aims and scope of surveys and program evaluation projects.
  • Design and/ or provide input to standardised structured and semi-structured surveys to ensure that the responses collected using these instruments are valid, reliable, and insight generating.
  • Oversee the procurement and management of research services from survey vendors, and other research partners (e.g. institutes of higher learning).
  • Work closely with vendors and colleagues from Sector and Partnerships Division (S&PD) to establish workflows that minimise the burden of data acquisition on the part of our community care partners.
  • Regularly inspect the integrity of incoming data that is being acquired and support vendors to take necessary remedial steps in a timely manner.
  • Contribute methodological expertise in the design of data collection and analytic strategies.
  • Analyze and interpret administrative, survey, qualitative interview, and clinical data. Specific methodologies include: propensity score matching, and a variety of regression models such as logistic, quantile, negative binomial models…etc using Stata or R.
  • Present analytic findings to internal and external audiences.

Job Requirements

Job Requirements:

  • A good Bachelor’s degree with Honours is needed. A good post-graduate degree (Master’s or PhD) in relevant fields such as Economics, Gerontology, Sociology, Biostatistics, Allied Health Disciplines or Public Health is preferred.
  • At least 5 years of working experience managing research projects.
  • A background interest or experience in community care is preferable.
  • Flexible, self-motivating, and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently under tight timelines.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent writing and presentation skills.
  • Pays close attention to detail and conscientious.
  • Comfortable working both independently as well as on a team.
