Job Description

  • Drive and facilitate quality improvement projects, initiatives and workshops aimed at organisational improvement for community care providers.
  • Coordinate and assist in the management of the quality improvement projects, which includes:-
    • Diligent and thorough preparation for the QI workshops, including forming a team, gathering data to quantify the current problems and familiarising yourself with the process,
    • Facilitate the workshop, including motivating the team, leading and guiding them through the activities, and documentation.
    • Follow up diligently after the workshop, including data tracking/collation, ensuring the team completes any outstanding action items, and guiding them to overcome any obstacles in implementation
  • Promote successful improvements through the creation and/or delivery of presentations, articles, conference posters, etc.
  • Support and assist with sector-wide events and platforms to build and sustain the quality improvement culture in the sector.
  • Continuously find ways to improve your own work and department work, and serve as a role model to others by embodying the QI philosophies
  • Undertake any other duties as directed by your supervisors.

Job Requirements

  • Degree with at least 3 years of working experience, preferably in the healthcare sector
  • Knowledge of quality improvement tools (e.g. LEAN, Design Thinking, Model for Improvement, PDSA)
  • Meticulous and able to work well independently or in a team
  • Good analytical, writing and interpersonal communication skills;
  • Proficient in MS office applications.
  • Knowledge of computer database and basic statistics would be an advantage
